MZT Skopje adds Worku to their roster

Defending champion KK MZT Skopje Aerodrom (Prva Liga) added to their roster 24-year old American (has also Ethiopian passport) guard Eyassu Worku (188cm-79kg-1998, college: UC Irvine, agency: Players Group) for new 2023-24 season. Worku played most recently at KK Gostivar. In 21 Prva Liga games in North Macedonia he recorded very impressive stats: 16.8ppg, 5.0rpg, 7.2apg (leader !!!) and 1.6spg in 2021-22 year. A very spectacular season in his career as he was voted Eurobasket.com All-North Macedonian League Import Player of the Year and League Player of the Week.
His team won Big West Regular Season in 2017, 2019 and 2020.
The previous (2020-21) season he played at KK Zabok in Croatian Premijer Liga where in 18 games he averaged remarkable 15.4ppg, 4.7rpg, 3.4apg and 1.8spg (in top 2) in that year.
He graduated from University of California - Irvine in 2020 and actually missed last season. It is his fourth season as a professional player.
