#1. Nathaniel Pollard Jr. (6'5''-F-2000, played in 2020-23, plays pro in Finland) could not help Karhubasket (17-15) in their last game. Despite Pollard Jr.'s good performance the fifth-placed Karhubasket (17-15) was badly defeated89-72 on the road by the higher-ranked (#3) Korihait in the Places 1-6 group. He was the second best scorer with 14 points. Pollard Jr. also added 7 rebounds, 4 assists and made 3 blocks in 20 minutes; quite an impressive performance considering it's only his first season in pro basketball. It was Karhubasket's third consecutive loss in a row. There are only three games left until the end of the Second Stage. So now every game will be critical. It's Pollard Jr.'s first year with the team. This season Pollard Jr. averages 9.2ppg, 7.1rpg, 4.1apg and 1.1bpg in 20 games he played so far. He is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market.
#2. Zion Styles (6'3''-G-2000, played in 2020-23, plays in Rwanda) was the major contributor in APR's victory against the seventh-ranked Espoir (3-4) crushing them 113-88 in the Rwandan RBL on Wednesday night. Styles recorded 22 points and grabbed 8 rebounds; not bad, considering it's only his first season in pro basketball. APR Basketball Club (6-0) is placed first in the RBL. So far his team won all six games in the Regular Season. The Regular Season already ended. Styles has relatively good stats this season 14.0ppg, 4.7rpg, 1.3apg and 1.7spg.
#3. AJ Cheeseman (6'8''-PF-1998, played in 2018-20, currently in Luxembourg), who plays in the Luxembourg LBBL was not able to help one of league's weakest teams T71 (4-1) in their last game. Despite Cheeseman's very good performance T71 was badly defeated83-65 at home by the leading Esch. He was the second best scorer with 22 points. Cheeseman also added 7 rebounds and made 2 blocks in 40 minutes. It's Cheeseman's first season with the team. He has individually a very good year with high stats. Cheeseman averages 18.8ppg, 7.0rpg and 1.5apg in four games.
#4. Marc Seylan (6'4''-G-1992, played in 2015-17, plays pro in Turkey) was not able to secure a victory for Reeder Samsunspor (3-22) in their game against Buyukcekmece (11-14) in the Turkish BSL. Seylan recorded 6 points. The bottom-ranked Reeder Samsunspor was crushed96-58 in Istanbul by the much higher-ranked Buyukcekmece (#9). It was Reeder Samsunspor's ninth consecutive loss in a row. The Regular Season already ended. This season Seylan averages 10.0ppg, 3.5rpg and 2.3apg. He has also Turkish citizenship.
