#1. Masseny Kaba (6'3''-F-1998, played in 2017-22, plays pro in France) could not help Angers (3-5) in their last game. Despite her very good performance Angers lost 72-86 at home to the much higher-ranked (#4) BLMA. Kaba recorded 17 points and had 3 steals in 38 minutes; quite an impressive performance considering it's only her second season in pro basketball. But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen. Kaba has relatively good stats this year 14.9ppg, 5.9rpg and 1.4apg in seven games she played so far.
#2. Experienced Emma Cannon (6'3''-F-1989, played in 2007-10, plays in Turkey) was the major contributor in Nesibe's victory against the 12th-ranked Botas (3-7) 71-60 in the Turkish KBSL last Saturday. She scored 17 points and grabbed 9 rebounds. Nesibe Aydin Ankara (5-5) is placed eighth in the KBSL. Cannon's team will play only one more game in the Regular Season. And that game will be critical. Cannon has individually a very good season with high stats. She averages 19.0ppg, 10.7rpg and 1.4apg.
#3. Diamond Battles (5'8''-G-2000, played in 2018-22, currently in Greece), who plays in the Greek A1 was not able to help Eunikos (1-5) in their last game. Despite her very good performance Eunikos was badly defeated87-71 on their home court in Liosa by the leading Panathinaikos. Battles was the top scorer with 17 points in 27 minutes; not bad, considering it's only her first season in pro basketball. It was Eunikos' fifth consecutive loss in a row. But the season just started, so everything may happen. It's Battles' first year with the team. Battles has relatively good stats this season 11.2ppg, 2.5rpg, 1.5apg and 2.3spg in six games.
#4. Georgia Gayle (5'10''-G-1997, played in 2019-20, plays pro in United Kingdom) was not able to secure a victory for Westfield Health Sheffield Hatters (2-1) in their last game on Sunday. Despite Gayle's very good performance Westfield Health Sheffield Hatters was edged75-72 on the road by the lower-ranked Giants (#9). She was the top scorer with 23 points. But the season is still in its first stage and everything can happen. This season Gayle has very high stats. She averages 20.7ppg, 3.0rpg, 4.0apg and 2.3spg.
