Although she displayed her skills as a champion by scoring those 6 points against Seattle, her team ultimately suffered a 97-85 defeat in the Women's National Basketball Association game. It is interesting to note that Onyenwere holds dual American and Nigerian citizenship, allowing her to potentially play for Nigeria as a domestic player.
