French Amandine Toi, a 27-year-old guard standing at 5'10" and a graduate of Virginia in 2022, showcased her exceptional skills as she led Logan Thunder to a decisive 85-66 victory over the tenth-ranked Seahawks (2-5) in the Australian NBL One North, the second division, on Friday night. Toi, who currently plays professionally in Australia, proved to be the MVP of the game with an impressive performance. She scored 20 points and recorded 3 blocks in just 18 minutes of play, demonstrating her prowess on the court. Logan Thunder, now boasting a record of 6-1, sits in fourth place in the North group following their fourth consecutive win. Toi's remarkable contribution, including scoring 20 points and securing 1 rebound against the NGC Seahawks, was instrumental in her team's triumph. Her stellar display of skills undoubtedly earned her the title of champion of the match. Individually, Toi is having an outstanding season with remarkable statistics, averaging 20.0 points per game, along with 2.5 rebounds, 1.5 blocks, and 3.5 steals per game. Her consistent performance and remarkable talent have undoubtedly made her a standout player in the league.
#2. Experienced champion Ariana Moorer, a 5'8'' guard who is 35 years old and an alumna of the Cavaliers from 2012, currently plays professionally in Australia. In a recent game, despite Moorer's impressive performance, the 12th-placed Gold Coast Rollers (2-7) were defeated 87-78 by the leading Dolphins in the North group. Moorer contributed significantly to her team's effort by scoring 17 points, grabbing 6 rebounds, passing 7 assists, and adding 3 steals in 37 minutes on the court. In the game against the Cairns Dolphins, Moorer displayed her skills by scoring 17 points, grabbing 6 rebounds, and dishing out 7 assists. Her remarkable efforts, although not resulting in a victory for her team, highlighted her talent as a finalist player. Throughout the season, Moorer has maintained solid statistics, averaging 14.0 points per game, 5.3 rebounds per game, 3.6 assists per game, and 1.4 steals per game.
