#1. Spencer Littleson, a 6'4'' guard who is 27 years old and graduated from Toledo in 2021 after helping them to win the MAC Regular Season Champion that year, currently plays professionally in Spain. In a recent game, Littleson unfortunately could not lead Menorca (17-15) to a victory as they lost 76-87 at home to the second-ranked Coruna. However, Littleson stood out by being the top scorer of the game with 22 points, along with contributing 5 rebounds and 4 assists during his 34 minutes on the court. This season marks Littleson's first with the team, and despite his remarkable performance, Menorca was unable to secure the win against Coruna. Throughout the season, Littleson has showcased impressive individual performances, maintaining high statistics. He currently leads the league in scoring with an average of 16.8 points per game, and has also been contributing 2.1 rebounds and 2.4 assists per game in the 35 games he has played thus far.
#2. Christopher Darrington, a 6'1'' point guard and 29-year-old Rockets alumnus from 2019, who helped his team clinch the MAC West Division Regular Season Champion title that year, currently plays professionally in the TBL. In a recent game, he was unable to propel the Glass City Wranglers (11-8) to victory as they fell short on the road against the St. Louis Griffins, with a final score of 94-103. Despite his commendable performance, where he scored 18 points, made 7 assists, and secured 4 steals in 41 minutes, the Glass City Wranglers (#5) were unable to come out on top. The Regular Season has concluded in The Basketball League, with Darrington showcasing an outstanding season individually. He has been a standout player, averaging 24.2 points per game (the fourth best in the league), along with 3.2 rebounds, 4.3 assists, and 1.7 steals in the 15 games he has played so far. In the recent game against the St. Louis Griffins, Darrington continued to impress by contributing 18 points, 2 rebounds, and 7 assists, despite his team falling short. His consistent high-level performance throughout the season has been noteworthy, establishing him as a key player in the league.
