#1. Experienced Anete Steinberga (6'3''-C-1990, played in 2009-13, plays pro in Italy) contributed to an easy victory against the league leader Brescia (4-0) crushing them 89-39 in the Italian Serie A1 in Saturday night's game. She recorded 9 points, 5 rebounds and 2 blocks in 18 minutes. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. Beretta Famila Schiois placed in the Serie A1. It's Steinberga's first season with the team. This year Steinberga averages 5.3ppg and 3.0rpg in four games she played so far.
#2. Kristine Vitola (6'5''-C-1991, played in 2010-14, plays in Greece) led Panathinaikos to an easy victory against the ninth-ranked Proteas (1-3) 93-75 in the Greek A1 last Sunday. She scored 11 points, had 8 rebounds and dished 7 assists. Panathinaikos Athens (3-0) is placed second in the A1. So far her team won all three games in the Regular Season. But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen. This year Vitola averages 5.7ppg, 7.3rpg, 3.3apg and 1.3spg.
#3. Sparkle Taylor (5'10''-G-1995, played in 2013-17, currently in Israel) led H.Petah Tikva to a victory over the league outsider H.Jerusalem (1-2) 74-69 in the Israeli D1 on Thursday night. She was MVP of the game. Taylor recorded 24 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists in 33 minutes. Hapoel Petah Tikva (1-2) is placed eighth in the D1. But the season just started, so everything may happen. It's Taylor's first year with the team. She has individually a very good season with high stats. Taylor averages 21.0ppg, 7.0rpg and 5.0apg in three games.
#4. Sabine Lipe (5'9''-G-1999, played in 2022-23, plays pro in Lithuania). Lipe could not help Siauliai (1-3) to beat TTT Riga (3-1) in the WBBL. Her contribution was not very remarkable in Saturday's game. Lipe scored only 3 points and grabbed 4 rebounds. Siauliai was crushed81-54 at home by the second-ranked TTT Riga. The Regular Season already ended in the WBBL. This season Lipe averages 8.0ppg and 3.5rpg.
#5. Thaniya Marks (6'1''-F-2001, played in 2022-23, plays in Kosovo) contributed to an easy victory against the fifth-ranked Trepca (1-2) crushing them 96-74 in the Kosovan Superliga last Sunday. Marks scored 16 points and grabbed 7 rebounds in 27 minutes; quite an impressive performance considering it's only her third season in pro basketball. KBF Bashkimi Prizren (3-0) is placed first in the Superliga. So far her team won all three games in the Regular Season. But the season is still in its first stage and everything can happen. Marks has very impressive stats this year 17.5ppg, 10.0rpg and 3.0apg in two games. Worth to mention she played also at Eurobasket Summer League, which helped her get the job in pro basketball.
#6. Jane Asinde (6'2''-F-1999, played in 2023-24, currently in Spain) contributed to an easy victory against the 12th-ranked ISB crushing them 88-59 in the Spanish LF Challenge (second division) on Saturday night. Asinde scored 15 points and grabbed 7 rebounds. This season Asinde averages 8.2ppg, 5.4rpg and 1.6spg.
