#1. Gabriel Ferreira (6'10''-F/C-1996, played in 2017-18, plays pro in Brazil). He could not help Botafogo (10-26) to beat Flamengo (31-5) in the Brazilian NBB. Ferreira scored only 4 points in 8 minutes on the court. Botafogo was crushed78-56 in a derby game by the leading Flamengo. It's Ferreira's first season with the team. This year he averages 3.1ppg, 3.4rpg and 1.4apg in 35 games he played so far.
#2. JD Tisdale (6'5''-F/G-1993, played in 2016-17, plays in the TBL) led Seattle Super Hawks to a victory over the Wenatchee Bighorns (4-7) 121-109 in the TBL on Thursday night. He was MVP of the game. Tisdale scored 27 points (!!!) and grabbed 5 rebounds. The Seattle Super Hawks have a solid 10-5 record this season. It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row. Tisdale has relatively good stats this season 12.7ppg, 2.2rpg and 2.0apg. Tisdale is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market.
#3. Jordan Coblin (6'1''-G-1997, played in 2023-24, currently in Israel), who plays in the Israeli National League (second division) was not able to help E.Shomron (12-12) in their last game. Despite his very good performance E.Shomron lost 72-82 on the road to the second-ranked E.Netanya. Coblin was the second best scorer with 16 points. He also added 5 rebounds in 30 minutes; quite an impressive performance considering it's only Coblin's second season in pro basketball. It was E.Shomron's first loss after four consecutive victories. Coblin has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages 16.8ppg, 3.0rpg and 1.8apg in 19 games.
#4. Experienced Robinson Opong (6'3''-G/F-1989, played in 2012-23, plays pro in Uganda) was not able to secure a victory for City Oilers (1-5) in their last game on Saturday. Despite his good performance City Oilers was crushed110-78 in Benghazi by the second-ranked Ahly. Opong scored 11 points. The Regular Season already ended in the Basketball Africa League. It's Opong's first season with the team. This year he averages 6.3ppg and 2.7rpg. Opong has also Ugandan citizenship.
