Especially interesting is good performance of Khalil Brantley (19 points), Markel Brown (23 points), and Caleb Asberry (26 points).

Khalil Brantley, a 6'1'' point guard who recently graduated from OK State and now plays professionally in Slovenia, showcased his skills in a remarkable performance leading Krka to a resounding 97-74 victory over Ilirija in the Slovenian Liga OTP banka. In the highly anticipated matchup between two top 4 teams, Brantley's stellar showing earned him the MVP title of the game. Scoring 19 points, making 4 assists, and tallying 3 steals in just 30 minutes of play, he demonstrated his exceptional talent on the court, especially noteworthy as this is his inaugural season in professional basketball. Krka Novo Mesto, currently holding the top spot in the league with a record of 26-1, extended their winning streak to 26 games with this triumph. Brantley's all-around performance against Ilirija, where he not only scored but also contributed with 2 rebounds and 4 assists, was crucial in securing the victory, further establishing his reputation as a champion. #2. Experienced champion Markel Brown, a 6'4'' shooting guard who is 34 years old and an alumnus of the Cowboys from 2014, currently plays professionally in Italy. In a recent game last Monday, Brown, despite his very good performance, was unable to lead Trieste (13-16) to victory. Trieste suffered a 90-75 defeat on the road against the second-ranked Brescia. Brown showcased his skills by scoring 23 points, leading all scorers in the game. Additionally, he contributed 4 rebounds and 6 assists during his 34 minutes on the court. Even though Brown put up an impressive performance against Brescia, his team ultimately fell short. Caleb Asberry, a 26-year-old 6'3'' guard who graduated from Oklahoma State in 2023 and currently plays professionally in New Zealand, showed his prowess on the basketball court by leading the Southland Sharks to a resounding 104-90 victory over the closely-ranked Saints in the New Zealand National Basketball League. Asberry, who has been making a name for himself in his third season in professional basketball, was named the MVP of the game after an outstanding performance. In a recent Spanish Liga Endesa match on Tuesday night, the 6'11'' center and Cowboys alumnus Yankuba Sima, who plays professionally in Spain, contributed to Valencia Basket's triumph over Zaragoza, one of the league's weaker teams with a 9-24 record. Despite playing only 3 minutes, Sima managed to score 4 crucial points that helped Valencia Basket secure a 98-86 victory. This win further solidified Valencia Basket's position as the fifth-ranked team in the league, with only four games remaining in the Regular Season. With each game now carrying significant importance, Sima's performance against Zaragoza proved vital in propelling his team towards success. His modest season averages of 3.1 points per game and 1.9 rebounds per game highlight his consistent contribution to the team. By scoring 4 points in the match against Zaragoza, Yankuba Sima played a pivotal role in his team's victory, earning him the title of champion of the game.
#5. Jeffrey Carroll, a 6'6'' forward/guard who graduated from Oklahoma State in 2018 and received the All-Big 12 Third Team award that year, is currently playing professionally in Germany. Recently, he showcased his skills by leading Phoenix Hagen to a crucial victory over Eisbaeren Bremerhaven in the German BARMER 2. Basketball Bundesliga ProA league. #6. Israeli champion Daniel Guetta, who stands at 6'2'' and is a Cowboys alumnus from 2026, currently plays professionally in Israel.
