Look at great performance of Maurice Ndour (12 points), Jaylin Hunter (16 points), and Victor Searls (16 points).
#1. Experienced Senegalese player Maurice Ndour, a 6'9'' power forward aged 33, who graduated from Ohio in 2015 and received the All-MAC Second Team award that year, currently plays professionally in Italy. Recently, he showcased his talent by leading Brescia to a hard-fought 84-80 victory over the eighth-ranked Trieste in the Italian Serie A last Thursday. In that game, Ndour contributed significantly with 12 points, 4 rebounds, and 3 assists in just 25 minutes of play. Germani Brescia Leonessa, the team Ndour plays for, currently holds the second position in the league with a record of 21-7. Ndour's exemplary performance against Trieste, where he displayed his scoring ability, rebounding skills, and playmaking with 12 points, 4 rebounds, and 3 assists, was instrumental in propelling his team to triumph as the champion. Throughout this season, Ndour has maintained solid averages of 9.8 points, 5.1 rebounds, 1.1 assists, and 1.1 blocks per game in the 32 games he has participated in so far.
#2. Jaylin Hunter, the 6'0''-PG and 26-year-old former Bobcats alumni from 2024, is currently playing professionally in Hungary. In a recent game, Hunter, despite his outstanding performance, could not lead ZTE KK to victory. The fourth-placed ZTE KK faced a tough 66-78 loss on the road against the higher-ranked (#3) Szedeak in the Play-Out group. Hunter showcased his skills by emerging as the top scorer of the game with 16 points. Additionally, he contributed 7 rebounds, 6 assists, and 3 steals in just 31 minutes of play. This remarkable performance is even more impressive considering that Hunter is only in his second season of professional basketball and this is his debut year with the team. Although Hunter displayed an exceptional performance against Szedeak, providing 16 points, 7 rebounds, and 6 assists, his team was unable to secure the win. Despite his individual success, ZTE KK fell short and suffered a defeat in the end. Throughout the season, Hunter has consistently delivered high-level performances, averaging 17.4 points, 3.4 rebounds, 6.8 assists (the second-best in the league), and 1.5 steals per game in the 36 games he has played so far. His impressive stats reflect his strong contribution to the team despite the recent loss.
#3. In the recent game, Victor Searls, a 6'9'' forward who graduated from Ohio in 2025 and currently plays professionally in Denmark, was unable to lead Naestved (25-7) to victory. Despite his commendable effort, the second-placed Naestved team suffered a defeat with a score of 86-98 against the leading Bakken Bears in Aarhus. Searls managed to contribute 16 points in 28 minutes of play, an impressive feat considering it is his debut season in professional basketball. Although he showcased a strong performance against the Bakken Bears, scoring 16 points and securing 3 rebounds, his team ultimately fell short. Throughout the season, Searls has maintained solid statistics, averaging 14.5 points, 7.3 rebounds, and 2.1 assists per game across 40 matches. Despite the loss in the recent game, Searls' consistent performance highlights his potential as a promising player in the league.
#4. Belgian basketball champion Siebe Ledegen, a 6'7'' forward who is 23 years old and an alum of the Bobcats from 2027, showcased his skills in the most recent game for Okapi Aalst. Despite his stellar performance, the league-leading Aalst team suffered a significant 78-60 defeat against the #10 ranked team, Oostende, who are considered one of the league's weakest teams. In this game, Ledegen emerged as the top scorer with 11 points and also displayed his defensive prowess by contributing 3 steals in just 23 minutes of play. Despite his individual achievements, Aalst was unable to secure a victory against Oostende. Throughout the season, Ledegen has maintained solid statistics, averaging 11.0 points per game and 4.4 rebounds per game across five matches. His consistent performance on the court highlights his importance as a key player for Okapi Aalst, even in the face of challenging matchups against lower-ranked teams like Oostende.
#5. Dwight Wilson III, a 6'8'' center/forward who is 27 years old and a graduate of Ohio in 2023, currently plays professionally in Poland. Recently, he made a significant impact by assisting Zastal BC Zielona Gora in a crucial victory over the closely-ranked Arka, with a final score of 90-64 in the Polish Orlen Basket Liga last Tuesday. Despite playing only 6 minutes on the court, Wilson III managed to contribute 2 important points to the team's success. Zastal BC Zielona Gora, currently placed eighth in the league with a record of 16-14, greatly benefited from Wilson III's performance against Arka. His 2 points proved to be decisive in securing the victory, leading his team to claim the champion title in that match. Throughout this season, Wilson III has maintained an average of 3.8 points per game and 1.2 rebounds per game in the 13 games he has played so far. His consistent contributions on the court demonstrate his value as a key player for Zastal BC Zielona Gora.
#6. Shereef Mitchell, a 6'1'' guard and 25-year-old alumnus of the Bobcats from the class of 2025, is currently showcasing his talents as a professional player in Hungary. Recently, he demonstrated his skills by leading Phoenix-MT to a decisive 94-83 victory over the closely-ranked BKG-Prima in the Hungarian Nemzeti Bajnoksag I/B Piros (second division) last Saturday. In this game, Mitchell displayed an outstanding performance and was rightfully named the MVP.
