#1. Moses Wright, a 6'10'' center who graduated from Georgia Tech in 2021 and received the All-ACC Player of the Year award that same year, is currently showcasing his basketball talents as a professional player in Lithuania. Recently, he led his team, Zalgiris, to a resounding 102-82 victory over Jonava, one of the league's weaker teams with a record of 9-23, in a game held on Wednesday night in the Lithuanian Betsafe Lietuvos krepsinio lyga. Wright's outstanding performance earned him the title of the game's MVP, as he contributed 18 points, 6 rebounds, and 2 blocks in just 19 minutes of play. Zalgiris Kaunas, with a commanding record of 31-1, currently holds the top position in the league standings. Wright's impressive displays on the court have been instrumental in his team's success, including their remarkable 27 consecutive victories. His remarkable performance against Jonava highlighted his skills as a champion player, helping to secure another win for his team. Throughout the season, Wright has maintained an average of 9.2 points per game and 4.4 rebounds per game in the 29 games he has played so far, solidifying his reputation as a top-tier player.
#2. Javian McCollum, a 6'2'' guard and 24-year-old former Yellow Jackets alumni from 2025, showcased his talent while playing professionally in Holland for ZZ Leiden. In their recent game against Groningen, despite McCollum's incredible performance, ZZ Leiden fell short and lost 89-97 on the road to the lower-ranked opponent. As the game's top scorer with 21 points and contributing 4 assists in just 29 minutes, McCollum displayed his skills on the court, especially impressive considering it is only his first season in professional basketball. His efforts against Groningen highlighted his abilities, even though the team ultimately suffered a defeat. In defeat, McCollum proved himself as a true champion. Throughout the season, McCollum has maintained high statistics, averaging 15.2 points per game, 1.5 rebounds per game, and 4.2 assists per game (ranking fourth best in the league) across six games, demonstrating his consistency and impact on the court.
#3. U.S. Virgin Islands champion Marcus Georges-Hunt, standing at 6'5'' and 32 years old, is a graduate of Georgia Tech from the class of 2016. In that year, he received the All-ACC Third Team award for his outstanding performance. Currently playing professionally in Lebanon, Georges-Hunt recently made his debut for Al Riyadi in a highly anticipated match against Homentmen. In the game, despite Georges-Hunt's remarkable efforts, scoring 25 points, securing 5 rebounds, and providing 9 assists in 44 minutes, Al Riyadi, the league champion, suffered a narrow 126-125 defeat to the lower-ranked Homentmen. This loss marked the first for Al Riyadi after a streak of nineteen consecutive victories, making every remaining game crucial as they approach the end of the Regular Season. Georges-Hunt's contribution in his inaugural season with the team has been noteworthy, and his impactful performance against Homentmen demonstrated his skills on the court. As a naturalized Virgin Islander, Georges-Hunt's presence adds depth and talent to the Al Riyadi roster as they strive for success in the league.
