#1. Alexa Held, a 26-year-old guard standing at 5'10'' who graduated from DePaul in 2022 and received the All-Big East Second Team award that year, currently plays professionally in the WNBA. In a recent game, she was unable to lead the Toronto Tempo (4-4) to a victory over the Portland Fire (5-3) in the Women's National Basketball Association. Despite her efforts, the Tempo suffered a tough 99-80 loss on the road to the Fire. Held's individual performance in this game was not one of her best, as she contributed 3 points, 2 rebounds, and 1 assist in just 8 minutes of play. Although the Tempo was defeated, it is important to note that the season is still in its early stages, and there is room for improvement. Held's performance against Portland Fire showcased her skills, even though the team did not emerge victorious. In the seven games she has played this season, Held has been averaging 1.3 points per game. As a champion, Held continues to work hard and strive for success, knowing that in the competitive world of professional basketball, every game presents a new opportunity to showcase her talents and contribute to her team.
