#1. Juan Cardenas (6'7''-PG-1997, played in 2018-20, plays pro in Argentina) led Gimnasia to an easy victory against the closely-ranked Regatas (7-2) crushing them 101-70 in the Argentinian La Liga in Sunday night's game. He scored 13 points and grabbed 8 rebounds in 26 minutes. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. Gimnasia y Esgrima Comodoro Rivadavia (5-2) is placed first in the La Liga. It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row. It's Cardenas' first season with the team. This year Cardenas averages 5.4ppg and 5.1rpg in nine games he played so far.
#2. Peter Kiss (6'5''-G-1996, played in 2020-22, plays in Romania) contributed to a 2-point Valcea's victory against the closely-ranked Rasta Vechta (2-2) 90-88 in the FIBA Europe Cup last Wednesday. He recorded 9 points and had 4 steals. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. CS Valcea 1924 Rm Valcea (1-3) is placed fourth in the FIBA Europe Cup. It was his team's first victory after three consecutive loses. There are only two games left until the end of the FIBA Europe Cup Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. It's Kiss' first season with the team. This year Kiss averages 8.0ppg, 1.7apg and 1.3spg.
#3. Ben Altit (6'10''-C-1993, played in 2008-12, currently in Romania) managed to help U-Banca Transilvania Cluj Napoca in a victory against the league leader Borac CA (1-4) crushing them 97-76 in the ABA League on Saturday night. Altit scored 5 points in 12 minutes. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. U-Banca Transilvania Cluj Napoca (3-2) is placed first in the ABA League. But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen. It's Altit's first year with the team. This season he averages 2.6ppg in five games. Altit has also Romanian nationality.
#4. Connor Withers (6'8''-F-2000, played in 2023-25, plays pro in Austria) contributed to a BK Karbon-X Dukes Klosterneuburg's victory against the eighth-ranked Kapfenberg Bulls (0-4) 86-80 in the Austrian BSL in Saturday night's game. He scored 10 points and grabbed 6 rebounds. BK Karbon-X Dukes Klosterneuburg (7-1) is placed second in the BSL. It was his team's fifth consecutive victory in a row. Withers has relatively good stats this season 12.9ppg, 7.3rpg, 2.0apg, 1.6bpg and 1.5spg.
#5. Earl Timberlake Jr. (6'6''-G-2000, played in 2022-25, plays in Portugal). Timberlake Jr. could not help Oliveirense (2-3) to beat Braga (3-2) in the Portuguese Liga Betclic. He scored 5 points and grabbed 9 rebounds in 30 minutes. Oliveirense was edged66-63 on the road by the higher-ranked (#7) Braga. But the season just started, so everything may happen. This year Timberlake Jr. averages 7.6ppg, 5.8rpg, 1.8apg and 1.6spg in five games.
#6. Hall Elisias (6'8''-C-1998, played in 2019-22, currently in Germany) was not able to help RheinStars Koeln in their game against Wolmirstedt in the German ProA (second division). Elisias scored only 4 points, grabbed 11 rebounds and made 4 blocks. His team was defeated 80-72. This season Elisias averages 5.3ppg, 7.0rpg and 2.0bpg. He is a naturalized Haitian.
