#1. Experienced Nate Barnes (6'0''-PG-1990, played in 2008-12, plays pro in Brazil) led Paulistano/Corpore Sao Paolo to a victory over the 12th-ranked Pato (10-22) 92-78 in the Brazilian NBB on Sunday night. He was MVP of the game. Barnes scored 22 points and added 6 assists in 29 minutes. Paulistano/Corpore Sao Paolo (11-0) is placed first in the NBB. So far his team won all eleven games in the 1/8 Finals. It's Barnes' first season with the team. He has relatively good stats this year 13.1ppg and 2.2apg.
#2. Tobias Dowdell (6'7''-F-1990, played in 2014-15, plays in Australia) contributed to an easy victory against the eighth-ranked Central District Lions (1-6) crushing them 99-55 in the Australian NBL One (second division) in Saturday night's game. He recorded 9 points, 6 rebounds and 2 blocks. Sturt Sabres (7-0) are placed first in Central group. So far his team won all seven games in the Regular Season. This year Dowdell averages 6.3ppg, 4.7rpg and 1.1apg in seven games he played so far.
#3. Imanol Artinano (6'8''-F-1995, played in 2013-17, currently in Spain), who plays in the Spanish EBA (fourth division) could not help Santurtzi (14-12) in their game last Saturday. Despite Artinano's good performance the seventh-placed Santurtzi (14-12) was crushed90-59 on the road by the lower-ranked Pas Pielagos (#10) in the Group A-A. He was the second best scorer with 11 points. Artinano also added 8 rebounds in 25 minutes. The Regular Season already ended. It's Artinano's fourth season with the team. He has relatively good stats this year 14.5ppg, 10.6rpg and 1.3apg.
#4. Anthony Carmon (6'1''-PG-1997, played in 2016-17, plays pro in the TBL) was not able to help the Glass City Wranglers (11-7) in their last game. Despite Carmon's very good performance the Glass City Wranglers (#2) lost 101-111 in Kalamazoo to the Galaxy. He had a double-double by scoring 18 points and getting 12 rebounds. Carmon also added 6 assists and 4 steals (went 5 for 5 at the free throw line). Carmon has relatively good stats this year 14.8ppg, 5.7rpg, 1.9apg and 2.7spg in 17 games.
