The Nigerian national men's basketball team, the D'Tigers yesterday defeated their opponent from Rwanda 108-53 in the second game of the African qualifiers for the 2019 FIBA World Cup holding in Bamako, Mali. The scores at first half was 56-28, before the D'Tigers led by Ikechukwu Diogu(204-F/C-83, college: Arizona St.) outsmarted the Rwandese with a multiple score line. He played most recently at Boulazac Basket Dordogne in French ProB. In 6 games he recorded very impressive stats: 16.3ppg, 1.7rpg, 2.0apg and 1.3spg last season.
